Mimiko dissolves cabinet

 Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko

Vanguard reported: Akure—BARELY 24 hours after he took oath of office for a second term as governor of Ondo State, Dr Olusegun Mimiko, yesterday dissolved the State Executive Council, SEC, and all non statutory boards and parastatals.
Investigation showed that the SEC would have been dissolved about a week ago but majority of the members of the inauguration committee were serving commissioners and members of boards and parastatals.
Vanguard gathered that many of the commissioners cleared their tables two weeks ago believing that they may be sacked before the inauguration of the governor for a second term in office.
