Snoop Dogg Is Coming To Africa

The Grammy nominated rapper Snoop Lion formerly known as Snoop Dogg is set to perform at the MTV All Stars Concert in May 2013. The much anticipated show will feature top continental artists like 2Face , Ice Prince and Davido having signed up for the event. The Lagos leg of the tour will be graced by performances from 2Face Idibia, Davido and Ice Prince. The final show will be held in Durban, South Africa where Snoop will be headlining.

"I'm honoured to bring this important message of peace and love to South Africa. This is the motherland and a place of so much history and strife. I hope that this concert reminds us it is also a place of joy, love, celebration and peace," said Snoop Lion. MTV Africa All Stars will be broadcasted around the world on MTVBase and MTV's global TV network.

PHOTOS: Beyonce and Jay Z 5th wedding anniversary in Cuba

Beyonce and Jay Z spent their 5th wedding anniversary in Havana, Cuba. The hip hop couple stopped traffic as they strolled down Havana street surrounded by heavy security. The Associated press reports that Beyonce and Jay ate lunch at the renowned restaurant La Guarida on Wednesday. The couple dined on fish, chicken, black beans and rice. A waitress told the AP that Beyonce and Jay Z toured the restaurant, looking at celebrity photos hanging on a wall as their security held back the crowd outside.

will be getting married in October and when I'm done with

Wesley Snipes released from prison at last!

After spending more than two years in Federal prison for tax evasion
(he reported to prison on December 9, 2010), actor Wesley Snipes has
been released. According to TMZ , Wesley was released from prison on
April 2 and will remain on house arrest until July 19. Great or sad
news? What do you think people?!

I left out Yobo to save him from embarrassment– Keshi

Yobo has criticized his exclusion from the Kenya World Cup qualifiers. Super Eagles Chief Coach, Stephen Keshi , has reacted to the row between him and the team's captain, Joseph Yobo. Yobo was left out of Keshi's team for the World Cup qualifier against Kenya in Calabar after he had a dismal outing at the African nations cup. He has accused the coach of not being fair to him, and showing disrespect to the office of the captain.

In his defence, Keshi quipped that he was only trying not to embarrass Yobo by excluding him from the team that played in Calabar. "I did not inform him that he would not be in the game against Kenya because I knew I was not going to take him. When we were in South Africa together, I explained to him so I did not see any point calling him to inform him," Keshi said.  

"You see, I was trying to protect him from being embarrassed. He is my captain and Nigeria's captain and I didn't think it would be proper for me to bring Yobo down here against Kenya and leave him on the bench." I mean, whatever I did was to protect him but it seems as if he doesn't understand. This is not about being a captain, wanting to play-it's about Nigeria, it's about who is ready to play for Nigeria and I am not going to put sentiments in these decisions. "Indeed, if he is angry that I didn't call him- I have the right to call him and I have the right not to call him. In any case, as a professional, he should have called me to say, "Coach, what is going on?" rather than going to the media. But I don't have anything against him," he concluded.
