MESSI'S INJURY UPDATE......

After undergoing tests at FC Barcelona headquarters, club medics have
ruled Lionel Messi out of Saturday night's Liga encounter at home to
RCD Mallorca. The club also stated that Messi's recovery progress will
determine his availability for future games.
Coach Tito Vilanova is already without Javier Mascherano – sidelined
for six weeks with a knee ligament tear – Carles Puyol (knee) and
Adriano (hamstring) for next week's encounter at home to Paris
Saint-Germain FC while attacker Pedro Rodríguez continues to nurse a
calf complaint.
